Greetings from Birla High School – Mukundapur!

Financial Literacy among students is the need of the hour. We take pleasure to inform you that our management is introducing a Financial Skill Learning Programme called FINLIT for the students of Class IV in association with IFEA (Investors Financial Education Academy), Chennai with the mission to empower children with the knowledge and skills essential for successful financial decision making.

This program on financial literacy focuses on the knowledge children of today’s genre need, which will help them to make correct and informed monetary decisions and stay cautious. This is being planned as a 5-year long graded programme which will eventually end in class VIII. Students will have a class, once a month within the school hours starting from Thursday, 17th November 2022. The entire program will be inter-woven into the present curriculum ensuring that the planned syllabus progresses without any changes. Other details will be provided to you during the Parents’ Orientation session to be held on Thursday,17th November 2022 at 8:30 am in the AVR.

We look forward to your support so that all of us together can bring out effective and productive overall changes to scale new heights.

Children’s Day 2022 Celebration

Nursery - Class IX

 

Dear Parents,

 

We will be celebrating Children’s Day on Monday, 14th November 2022. On this special day the students may wear formal coloured clothes to school.

 

All classes from Nursery to Class IX will be dispersed at 12:30 p.m. on account of this special occasion.

 

There will be normal pick – up and drop service. Parents of students availing the transport services need to be present at the drop point accordingly. Parents escorting the students and car pool kindly make it convenient to collect your ward sharp at 12:30 p.m.

Spell Bee 2022-23

Class I to Class IX

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that the school is organizing the second level of the ‘Wiz National Spell Bee Competition’ to be conducted in school by English Wizard Foundation. The date of the competition will be shared later and will be scheduled after the puja vacation.

Students who are selected for next level and have received the admit card for the next level are eligible to appear in the examination.

Please note that participation in the above-mentioned competition is optional.

Categories in which the student can participate are appended hereunder --

For Class I - IX

Ø  Inter School Spell Bee Competition – Rs 250/-

Ø  State Level Handwriting Competition - Rs 400/-

Please note the following:-

Appearing for the Spell Bee / Handwriting Competition / Activity Contest is OPTIONAL.

Time and Date of the competition will be informed later

Kindly fill in the admit card and handover the same to your wards’ Class Teacher by Friday 29th September 2022.

Registration will start from Saturday, 1st October 08:00 Hrs and will continue till Thursday, 20th October, 2022, 23:59 Hrs

The amount includes the cost of Registration and Study Materials

Please note that the registration for the contest will be processed for your ward, only after we receive the duly signed admit card along with the registration fees.

As you know “ Joy of Giving Week” or “Daan Utsav” is India’s very own ‘Festival of Giving which is celebrated  every year during the festive season. It aims at spreading joy and happiness among the less fortunate.

 We request you to send the items mentioned below through your ward by Tuesday, 20th September’2022 to his/her class teacher. We have done a market survey and have found out the approximate prices. The items listed can be purchased in the price range of         ₹. 100/- to ₹. 200/-. We seek your participation and cooperation to make this a successful learning experience for our students.
